     I graduated from Silver Lake College in 1989 with a degree in Communications Graphics.  Illustration has always been where my talent lay in art.  Although I dabbled in graphic design for years I became frustrated and was always asking for the graphic or illustration jobs where I'd have more freedom to create.   I even took on the design and illustration shores at Adventure shops I worked at after I gave up on the advertising agency business.  My love has always been illustration and when I discovered my passion of kayaking I naturally wanted to combine both.
