Adventure Weekend


 Hot? Sorta.... Humid Out?

Time to be a tourist in your own backyard!  There is a reason that folks drive, fly and travel miles and states away to be here.  They let them have all the fun?!?  JOIN US and discover the "other " side of Florida.  Chill out on the Amazing Sante Fe River!  Relax and meet like-minded folks on this pristine river trip.  Let us organize an adventure just for you.

We are ACA certified and want you to experience a weekend like no other.  So join us!  Situated on the banks of this amazing and famous river are
pristine cool springs just beckoning your presence.  During the day you can enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, tubing and biking.  Evening activities include campfire, guitar music and other games (you have an imagination)! We have already planned the trip;  Try something new! Who knows?  You may meet a few new friends.  all you need to do is simply sign up!

Trip Difficulty:  beginner and up welcome

When:   Friday - Sunday, July 15th- 17th

Where:  Ginnie Springs campground near Gainesville Florida

Cost:  $210.00 with kayak rental (includes two nights camping, five meals, all kayaking gear and guide fees)  $140.00 with own kayak (includes two nights camping and five meals and guide fees)


Trip Itinerary:
 .Friday: We'll leave work on Friday and drive up to High Springs Florida ( about a 2.5 hr drive from St. Petersburg.)  High Springs is located just out side of Gainesville Florida.  The group arrives between 8-9pm on Friday July 15th.  Your welcome to come earlier if you like.   Friday night is a get acquainted night and relax at your campsite. 

Saturday:  We'll get up and eat breakfast under the pavilion located just off our campsite.  After breakfast we'll put in for an adventure up the river to lily springs.  Much exploring to done as there are numerous springs along the way.  Later we'll turn around and head down river towards Ginnie Spring and our campsite.  Along the way there usually is one or two rope swings.

Lunch is served at our campsite an pavilion area around 1pm.  The afternoon is free for biking, hiking or just tubing down the lazy Sante Fe.  Dinner at 6:pm at pavilion.  After dinner we'll play a spirited game of volley ball or you can just relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Sunday:  We'll eat breakfast at 8pm and then shuttle the cars to the take out on the river.   Once all the drivers are back at the campsite we'll put-in and spend the rest of the trip paddling down the Sante Fe river.  We'll take out at our cars and enjoy a much rewarded lunch at the bridge.



Things to bring:  water, sunscreen, bug spray, camera, appropriate kayaking clothing, water shoes or sandals, camping gear. fire wood, your own spirits if you like.
